Workshop Registration:
Creating Communities of Care Within the Classroom
Join us in exploring how to transform your classroom into a community of care that allows for all members of the classroom community to have an opportunity to build meaningful connections with one another and attend to each other’s needs.
-
Throughout the workshop we will:
1) Deepen teachers’ understanding of how self-compassion and collective care generates positive thinking, reduces stress and frustration, and creates room for creativity to deepen compassion in their classrooms.
2) Explore specific classroom practices they can begin implementing with their students immediately to build communities of care within their own unique classroom environments.
3) Discuss how collective care can happening between the teachers and the students with both groups standing to benefit from being both the givers and receivers of care.
